Our house is coming along......
Wow, so it has been 3 weeks since my last post- shame on me! We were on vacation because what better time to leave your house when there is hammering going on from dawn to dusk. We went to Sand Mtn and then Reno for a week. Fun, fun, fun. And I truly needed it. The walls to the second story are up and sheeted and the roof will be going on next week. We have three very talented guys working on the job who are just great (not to mention Gary and the kids and I pitch in whenever we can.) Enjoy!

progress on the house...
Hello All,
Here are the latest pics, taken today. They poured the stem walls for our foundation. Hopefully this Friday they will be able to pour the basement slab. Then it is walls up next week!!! I will post again this weekend.

Mothers Day- A great Day
HAPPY MOTHERS DAY!!!
Okay, so I got my sweet husband to take a break from the backyard to go for a hike today- well truth be told he worked on the construction site this morning before we left and then when we got home, but still I got 4 solid hours from him!!! :-) Anyway, my sister and her family and all of us went on a hike to Desolation Wilderness, and had a great time!!!

Remodel
Here are some pictures of our remodel......yikes!!! This is a very scary new phase of our lives- but very exciting. For those of you who don't know we are remodeling our kitchen and adding about 1400 sq feet- a new kitchen nook, hallway, laundry room, master bed and bath, walk in closet in the existing master upstairs, and then a new basement with a bedroom and bath. We are very excited and Gary is really excited as he gets to rip stuff up and ride on a tractor everyday!

Maui- April 2008
Welcome! Here are the pictures we took on our trip to Maui. We stayed in Kaanapali April 3-10, and had a trip of a lifetime! Everyone did so well, even on the plane rides, and we can't wait to go back! Enjoy the pics!
